We Could Have a Screamin' Time!
That's right, folks! It's time to start planning the annual get together. So, first things first. We need to find a date that works for all or most of us. These are the weekends of the summer. Let's get planning.
Bryan can take any weekend off if he has enough notice. It seems like whenever we want a weekend off another guy has already asked for it, so the sooner we can get this figured out, the better chance we have of picking a good weekend.
June 2-4 Ferf/Ryan
June 9-11
June 16-18
June 23-25 Weed/Derek Ferf/Ryan
June 30-July 2 Jay/Brynn, Weed/Derek
July 7-9 Jay/Brynn, Weed/Derek
July 14-16 Jay/Brynn, Weed/Derek Ferf/Ryan,Mom/Pop,(Could work if needs to for Moss)
July 21-23 Jay/Brynn, Weed/Derek
July 28-30 Jay/Brynn, Weed/Derek
August 4-6 Jay/Brynn, Weed/Derek Ferf/Ryan, Mom/Pop, Moss/Christie
August 11-13 Jay/Brynn

etc.
Another thing to consider is location. Bryan and I are in charge this year, but some input would be nice. How far do you want to travel? How high do we want to go? What kinds of things would make an ideal location? Please share your thoughts. We are not making any promises as far as ideal goes, but we will try to find something fun, beautiful, and interesting.

Should we put our name on which weekends do or do not work for us?
Let's be positive and do the weekends that will work.
We can possibly go in June if that is better for everyone else. There is just a possibility that Jay has to work a few weekends before a big new product at work is released and it is released on June 27, so just in case after that is better for us.
one more thing :) Isn't Grandma Poulsen in town the week of July 24? Maybe that week should be off the list?
Location--prefererrably not more than 2 to 2 1/2 hours away. Ga$ i$$pendy and our kids always puke, but we'll go wherever it is as longas we can find it!

Just a thought...we are coming down for Grandma Poulsen and Grandma Kurtz in July and August as well as for the family campout...any chance we could meet halfway on the location of this one, for the sake of gas? If not, we will be there with bells on. Just thought it was worth a plug.
