Family Camp is almost here. And nothing like last minute planning to make it happen. If you think this is last minute . . . well, you ain't seen nothin' yet! We'll be really last minute if the site doesn't work out.
We have a location . . . maybe. We are hoping to go to a site near Manderfield Reservoir. But, if that site is not available, we have a backup plan on Cedar Mountain.
If the Manderfield site works out, we want to camp, play in a stream (bring extra clothes for wet kids), canoe/kayak/fish in the reservoir, and go to Cove Fort. That's what we're hoping for.
So, we need to figure out food.
Sign up and we can all start intermittent fasting now so that we'll be ready for the feast of fat things. 😄😄😄😄
Wednesday (24th): Bring your own dinner. Bring a pie to share and your own root beer. We'll celebrate Pioneer/Pie and Beer day!
Thursday (25th)
Breakfast: Jay and Brynn (French toast, etc.)
Lunch: Borrowmans
Dinner: Mom/Dad/Bean - Navajo Tacos (chili scones and dessert scones), Watermelon
Breakfast: Lance and Juge: breakfast burritos (how redundant...thank you!)
Lunch: Moss and Christie: Hot Dogs Chips Fruit
Dinner: Randalls (Stew and Rolls)
Saturday (27th)
Breakfast: Derek and Co. (Cereal and Fruit)
For this site, we need water. Bring water if you can. Randalls will bring a ten gallon jug.
We will bring some too--I think our thing is 7 gallons, no ice. Can be poured into a water cooler.
Randalls will bring the bathrooms. I hope I can figure that out. We'll bring the paper goods for the bathroom and the food. In separate containers. We'll bring garbage bags, too.
Tables? M/D - 2 lifetime tables, other small/large table, card table, awning (Lou is bringing that for us).
Tarps? M/D-1 large tarp
Ours died a horrible death last year :(

Kayaks?
Randalls will bring a canoe and five life vests.
M/D will be happy to pull up the Borrowmans kayak trailer if they want us to. We are driving our big truck.

Wood? Randalls can bring some wood and a barrel, but not enough wood for the whole time.
Camp Chefs, Griddles, Dutch Ovens?
M/D will bring all of the above and propane for our stove.
Lance and Juge will also bring all of the above.
Badminton Stuff:
Weavers will bring a net and some cruddy racquets
Borrowmans are planning to bring a karaoke machine, so start working on your singing!!
I'm just winging it here, so let's think together and figure out what we need. Add to the post and let's make this happen. It'll be awesome! Can't wait to hang out with the coolest people ever.

FINAL REPORT
We ended up at a great place - a last minute, but perfect change to a site near Uinta Flat - Duck Creek. The weather was ideal - not too hot, a little bit of night rain and just a smattering of rain/hail at the lake. The food was great and plentiful as usual, the activities too. Lou worked so hard trying to find us a place amid the July 24th rush of camping. Many thanks to her and Bryan for managing the camp for this year. And many thanks to everyone else for their contributions!
Pictures are worth a thousand words, so here are mine. If others would like to add, please feel free! It's a little bit of family camp history.

Jay and Brynn will bring a tarp, water and 2 kayaks. It won't let me comment above so hope you see this!
Well bring a table too
I'm excited to try your lunch Moss & Christie! Never had caviar before! ;)
We have 8 life jackets to go with our kayaks, but we only have sizes for people similar to those in our family, so if someone in your family needs a baby life jacket or larger than a men’s XL or women’s M, you may want to bring your own.
