We had a GREAT family camp with the Weavers in charge this year. We went over by Escalante, Utah and pretty much had the Blue Spruce Campground all to ourselves from Wednesday July 8th - Saturday afternoon July 11th. Everyone made it this time except Bean. AS always the food was yummy and we had a lot of fun playing and visiting in camp. The kids really enjoyed the little stream running by the camp and that kept them pretty much entertained along with all of the other natural entertainments of the outdoors. The men put up a swing that they enjoyed too and Bryan's hammock is always a hit, thought it may have seen it's last day this camp. The Borrowmans had a bit of car trouble, but it worked out in the end thankfully. Other than herniated and flat airbeds, everything else was amazing. The weather cooperated wonderfully with a little rain to cool things off and plenty of shade. Some of the out of camp activities included hiking to Upper Calf Creek Falls where we played in the water and jumped off and slid down a small cliff. The water was a little muddy from recent rains. Need to go back when it's clear! We also hiked to Lower Box Hollow and did some rappelling there.
