UEA Brian Head style

Hey Everyone,

Probably time to get some idea of who/what we are going to eat while we hang out at the Sheffield's cabin for UEA.  Paul and I plan to head up there on Thursday morning, October 15th.  Dorothy said she had us down for UEA and it starts on Thursday.  So, don't plan on getting there before that or it won't be open!  So for feeding the masses, we probably need to sign up just like for Family Camp.  Dad and I (and some from the Weaver's) did the trade work on this, but we can't feed you all too!  We are leaving on Saturday afternoon to get home for dinner and Sunday.  I think Juge said you could stay for Sunday.  Meals for Saturday dinner and Sunday will have to be up to everyone who is planning to stay for that time.  And we need to leave the place clean, clean, clean!  If you want paper goods for your meal, bring them.  If not, we can just use the dishes that are there.  Looks like there are 6 meals and 6 families going, so we can each just take  one.  (Jay and Brynn, Borrowmans, Smiths, Weavers, the Randalls and us will be there.)

Thursday Lunch:  bring your own!

Thursday dinner:  Randall's Supreme Surprise

Friday Breakfast:  Paul and Bonnie will be serving yogurt, muffins, boiled eggs, fruit and juice.

Friday lunch: Borrowmans--hoagie style sandwiches

Friday dinner: Weed and Derek--probably hawaiian chicken and rice and salad.

Saturday Breakfast: Jay and Brynn - French toast of some sort

Saturday Lunch: Lance and Juge: delicious soup or something!

Jay and Brynn can't be there until Friday evening. Jay has to work Friday so we are hoping to be there by dinner that night. Just FYI. But we are staying through Sunday.  Update: we won't know until almost day of but there is a chance jay can take Friday off. If that happens we will be there Thursday night. Hope I'm not messing up meal plans😋

Lance and Juge say: We don't have those days off of school so we will probably not be coming up until Friday afternoon.  We need to discuss, but we will likely want to stay until Sunday afternoon.  Takers?
Borrowmans are planning on going home Saturday afternoon

Mission Accomplished!

We had a great family get together at Brian Head for UEA.  We stayed at Sheffield's cabin.  They were very generous to let us redeem our rock repair trade work with the whole family.  Paul and I went up Wednesday evening and then from Thursday afternoon on the rest of the gang minus Moss and Supe's families joined us(they were enjoying time together in Oregon).  We had a great time playing, hiking, eating, watching football games, eating, celebrating Jay's birthday, going to church (those that could stay for Sunday), etc..  It started out as very nice weather and then turned to rainy and was about ready to snow by the time we left.  We were very comfortable in the cabin when we didn't want to be outside.  It was such a fine time in such a comfortable, beautiful setting.  Glad so many could make it!

Paul and I took a drive up near Yankee Meadows waiting for everyone else to arrive.
Borrowmans arrived first and we took a walk up the ski run.  Brynnli and Tavin got chilly and shared a jacket.
Fun and food inside safe from the cold!
Took a little hike on the Alpine Loop at Cedar Breaks during a good weather time.
Took another little hike to Aspen Mirror Lake and enjoyed the fall colors.
