Coming from Cedar, drive east up Cedar Canyon on Hwy 14 until you get to Hwy 89. Head south. Just after the rest stop, there is an unmarked turnoff to the right (if you get to Glendale, you've gone too far). There is a cattle guard and dumpster where you left the highway. This is Stout Canyon Road. Drive about 3 miles on a well traveled dirt road to the Heaton Ranch. There will be a few gates, but they should be open. If not, just leave them how you found them.
Coming from northern Utah, follow the directions until it says to turn onto highway 14. Don't do it! continue south. Shortly after that junction, there will be a rest stop. If you have an iPhone and want Derek to text you a map with a pin right on the cabin, text him. We'll try to put out signs to help, if we get there in time. :)
Don't forget to bring sheets or sleeping bags, and bring towels if you'd like to shower. I will bring dish towels. Bring bug spray and if you have life jackets, bring those. There are usually boats there for us to use. Flashlights would be a good thing too, for campfire nights and finding your way between cabins (or if we run out of electricity and need to see to turn on the generator). Bring jackets and possibly pants for chilly evenings or when it rains.
I hope that's everything! Sorry for so many posts!!
